  1. To begin your initial appointment, we will have a conversation to get to know you better. We will go over the paperwork you filled out and ask you some questions about your hearing and what your goals are.

  2. After our discussion we will examine the inside of your ears. We want to ensure your ears are clear of any impacted earwax before the hearing test.

  3. Then we will begin the hearing portion of your exam. During the hearing test you will put on a pair of specialized headphones and sit inside our sound booth. We will play a variety of sounds that range in frequency and volume.

  4. After we’ve examined your hearing, we will go over the results of your audiogram and discuss what kind of options could help you.

The evaluation will take between 30-40 minutes. Please also allow time for a discussion with the audiologist to review your results and ask questions.
