Valley Hearing Center is back with another lunch ‘n learn opportunity— happening on October 23 at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Salinas at 11:30 am. Whether this is your first time learning with us or you’ve been attending our events from the beginning, we invite you to come on our and enjoy expanding your knowledge with us! Our luncheons and seminars have been a hit this year and we’d love to keep them rolling with another intriguing event.
New to Valley Hearing Center’s lunch ‘n learn events? Not sure what to expect? No worries! These events are small gatherings where people, like yourself, can learn a little bit more about the world of audiology. We cover topics that include news and information about the industry, as well as educational topics regarding hearing aids, hearing tests and hearing health.
And, we often play host to a number of guest speakers who are on hand to give you insight into the products that we carry, as well as some of the more intricate details of hearing health and hearing-related conditions!
This month’s topic
This month’s topic focuses on BrainHearing technology. We’ll be talking about how the ears and brain work together as a system, with the brain doing the heavy lifting, and will explore hearing technology designed for the brain to deliver the clearest, purest signal possible.
We will also include a discussion of the relationship between dementia, aging, and hearing.
Oticon representative Lisa Olsen will be available to answer your questions.
If you’ve decided to join us at this event regarding BrainHearing technology please be sure to RSVP today—we’ll save you a chair and make sure that there’s a place for you to expand your knowledge about hearing health!
Once again, our next event will be held on October 23 at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Salinas at 11:30 am.
